New Feature: Additional Alternates

Per Part FAR Part 121, a flight could require a takeoff alternate and a second destination alternate in addition to our current alternate capability. You can now add additional alternates to specific flights. You will also be able to view the landing cards for your alternate airports and review and calculate additional settings, if necessary.

Additional alternates (iPad)
1 Shown above is an example of the Additional Alternates Tab within the ASAP STAR for iPad application. You'll have options to review your additional alternates by selecting the tab, which will then give you additional tools such as access to the Landing Cards, Performance Calculator, and a quick detailed view of the performance for the airfield.
Additional alternates (web)
2 Shown above is an example of the Additional Alternates Tab within the ASAP STAR Integrated System. You'll have options for a Takeoff Alternate, Destination Alternate #2, and Reclear options. You can only edit Takeoff and Destination alternates from the Web Version of ASAP STAR. You can then input your planned settings for Takeoff Alternate and Destination Alternate #2.
